A serious accident occurred on Wednesday evening in Tirana, where a 48-year-old citizen lost his life. The accident occurred in Laknas, where the victim was traveling on a motorcycle when he collided with a vehicle driven by a 20-year-old. The police have escorted the driver of the vehicle to the police station.

Tirana/Preliminary information-On 10.06.2026, at around 20:30, on "Mother Teresa" street, in Laknas, the vehicle driven by citizen EV, 20 years old, collided with the motorcycle driven by citizen LG, 48 years old.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the motorcycle lost his life, while the driver of the vehicle was taken to the police station for further procedural actions.
The investigation team is working to fully clarify the circumstances and causes of the accident.
