According to them, the more pressure and efforts to minimize the protest increase, the more citizens are joining the rallies on the boulevard.
Despite the passage of 11 days since the start of the protest, "Martyrs of the Nation" Boulevard and the square in front of the Prime Minister's Office continue to be filled with citizens demanding the resignation of the government and profound political changes in the country.
Protesters stated that the pressures, attacks and attempts to discourage them are not weakening the movement, but are producing the opposite effect. According to them, the more the pressures and attempts to minimize the protest increase, the more citizens are joining the rallies on the boulevard.
"The more they attack us, the more the square fills up," said some of the participants, emphasizing that the high turnout on the 11th day is evidence that civic discontent is growing, not fading.
Unlike the first few days, Wednesday's protest was characterized not only by high participation, but also by the appearance of new banners and messages, which dominated the atmosphere of the rally and were widely shared on social networks.
Among the banners that attracted the most attention was the one with the inscription "Either for today, or for 148 years", as well as the ironic banner "The pan wants a sacrifice", accompanied by photographs of key figures in Albanian politics.
Students showed up again in protest with an organized bloc, holding a large banner reading "You haven't settled your score with the students yet," while other messages read: "When students rise up, the state trembles," "Without youth, there is no Albania," and "Now it's our turn."
The protest was also filled with patriotic and symbolic messages. One of the most commented banners read: "Prizren 1878, Albanians from 5 vilayets came together. Tirana 2026, Albanians from 5 continents come together," emphasizing the unity of Albanians inside and outside the country.
Protesters also unfurled banners against government decisions, such as "Our Land, Our Decision," while others addressed the prime minister directly with critical and ironic messages.
In addition to anti-government slogans, the protest also articulated concrete proposals for reforming the political system. A separate banner called for a "radically new government," the distribution of power, and a limitation of the prime minister's term to 1 to 2 years.
During the rally, protesters chanted slogans such as "Rama go, Berisha go", "Government of crime", "Edi Rama, you traitor, resign as soon as possible" and "New Albania", while the organizers called for preserving the civic character of the protest and continuing the mobilization in the coming days.
After 11 days of non-stop protests, the high turnout and increasingly diverse messages indicate that the movement is transforming into a broader platform of civic discontent, where, in addition to opposition to the government, ideas for political and institutional change are also being articulated.
