Security expert Fatjon Softa, while analyzing recent criminal events in the country, stated that the situation is worrying and that they increase the sense of insecurity among citizens.
He stated that the state is very weak in the face of these criminal groups and the fact that all the recent attacks are still unsolved shows this. According to him, it is not only the State Police that is guilty of this event, but many other institutions are responsible.
"We are talking for the umpteenth time about the same events that, regardless of the name of the city, the way of organization, they are similar. They are criminal events that are well organized, planned and as such have unfortunately been carried out so far without a perpetrator. Let us mention that the most serious event was the one you mentioned and the media has widely covered the case of Rinas, but also that of Elbasan and other events during 2025 that are still without a perpetrator. And everyone's real concern is how safe we are and is it enough to just say that Albania is a safe country? I do not believe that this should be the motto that would cover the problems we have. And we should not always blame the problems on the state police, because here we are dealing with the Albanian state, not the Albanian police. And here there are several institutions that are responsible ," Softa told 'OraNews".
