Wirtz to Liverpool, Klopp to critics: You will swallow what you are saying

Jurgen Klopp has spoken openly about Florian Wirtz, who signed for Liverpool in the summer.

Wirtz has struggled to adapt to the league so far, having joined from Bayer Leverkusen after several impressive seasons.

He didn't score or assist in his first 10 appearances for the club, but Klopp believes anyone criticising the youngster will have to swallow their words.

"You will all swallow your words if you use the wrong words with Florian Wirtz. He is an extraordinary talent," said Klopp.
