Vora has recorded another important victory at the beginning of this season in the Superior Category, defeating Elbasan, one of the teams considered contenders for the top spot, with a score of 2-1.
Elbasan took the lead in the 54th minute, after a ball clash in midfield. Tsage fired a powerful shot that was stopped by goalkeeper Ruçi, but Qose followed up the action and pushed the ball into the net, raising the home fans in celebration. However, in the 64th minute, Vora reacted strongly, taking advantage of a mistake in Elbasan's midfield. Kasalla assisted Daka, who shot accurately and tied the score at 1-1.
After the draw, tensions were noted among the fans in the stadium, but the game continued without interruption. In the 86th minute, Karrica scored the winning goal for Vora, after a quick action from the right wing, giving his team three golden points.
Meanwhile, Partizan achieved a narrow 0-1 victory over Flamurtari in Vlora, thanks to an own goal by Lorenc Trashi in the 63rd minute, after a shot by Isgandarli. The match was accompanied by moments of tension and much-discussed decisions by VAR.
In the 77th minute, Urbaez was booked for a foul on Atanaskoski, increasing the tension on the pitch. Meanwhile, between the 84th and 87th minutes, VAR annulled a goal by Oshafi for a handball by Maksuti, after referee Bylykbashi's second intervention with the VAR system – just minutes after a penalty by Flamurtari was annulled.
