A 36-year-old man from Pogradec lost his life today in Kolonjë, Korça, after a serious accident while he was working transporting wood.
According to preliminary information, the victim was reported to have worked at a private entity licensed for the production of wood in the Kolonja area. He had gone to load wood in the village of Kurtesh when a massive piece of wood suddenly broke off and crushed him.
It is reported that the 36-year-old died at the scene, despite immediate intervention.
After the incident, an investigative group arrived in the village of Kurtesh, which is carrying out procedural actions to clarify the full circumstances of the accident and determine the causes that led to the loss of the young man's life.
