Activist Edison Lika mocked the government, stating that state institutions were more committed to the Kanye West concert than to solving citizens' problems.
During the speech given at the 42nd protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, Lika stated that even public transport buses, which are absent from daily service to citizens, were made available for organizing the activity.
He also criticized the use of public funds, noting that the government added another 4 million euros to the financing for the concert. Lika stated that the protest gathered more citizens than the activity in question.
At the end of his speech, the activist stated that "free Albanians" had gathered in the square, while he repeated his call for Prime Minister Edi Rama to resign.
"Today the entire state is at the service of Kanye West. The buses that never come to the citizens were named Kanye West. Transportation is never there for the citizens. As if the money wasn't enough, our government added 4 million euros and yet this square has much more than that. In this square, free Albanians sing the song of our freedom. Rama resign ," said Edison Lika.
The 42nd consecutive protest against the government and the political class continued with speeches by citizens and public figures in front of the Prime Minister's Office. Among them was actor Mehdi Malkaj, who leveled accusations against Prime Minister Edi Rama, stating that the government has not fulfilled the promises with which it gained the trust of the citizens.
In his speech, Malkaj focused on promises for healthcare, education, and pensioners, asking where the commitments made by the government have gone.
" Have you noticed that the prime minister says: 'I will see it through to the end, because I have a contract'? In the contract we made together, he said free medicine. Where is it? Where is the model education? The pensioners who would benefit, where are they? Where does he find the right to tell us what we will do? ", the actor said.
Malkaj called on the Prime Minister to stand up to citizens and be accountable for his governance.
" Let him come here and let us show him who he is. We are the brave Albanian people. We have killed fear ," he declared, as his words were accompanied by applause and cheers from the protesters.
The rally in front of the Prime Minister's Office took place as part of the 42nd day of protests, which, according to the organizers, will continue until the main demand for the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama and a change in the political system in the country is met.

Activist Arbër Lleshi, during his speech at the 42nd protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, stated that the civic movement has achieved concrete results, but according to him, the battle is not over yet.
He stated that the protests will continue until Prime Minister Edi Rama leaves office, describing the current government as the most corrupt the country has ever known.
Activist Lleshi also said that "the unity of Albanians against the political dipole is stronger than ever as they remember that injustice has been done to the people. He remembers "Gërdec", "January 21" and the corruption affairs.
"In just the first 2 weeks, the EP made it clear that the law that massacres protected areas must be repealed. We still have a lot to do, we need to be here until the final resignation of the most corrupt government Albania has ever seen. The unity of Albanians against the political dipole is stronger than ever and we are reminding them of how much injustice has been done to us. We have grown up among the shells. Let's not forget Gërdec, January 21 and the corruption affairs.
The infrastructure is half-finished, the road in my village has not been built for 40 years, while 4.2 million euros go to a fascist. If Rama had no knowledge of the thefts, he should resign due to incapacity, otherwise he should resign, but in both cases he is no longer our prime minister. Ministers and MPs are not responding, Parliament is blocked with bars like a prison. People should come in and meet the MPs", declared Lleshi.
Even on the 42nd day of the civic protest against the government and the political class, hundreds of citizens gathered in front of the Prime Minister's Office, repeating the demand they consider non-negotiable: the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama. After marching from Skanderbeg Square, the protesters filled the boulevard in front of the government building, where speeches and calls against the executive continued.
One of the strongest speeches of the evening was delivered by activist Sidorela Vatnikaj, who stated that the 42-day protest has, according to her, debunked the myth that Albanians do not know how to unite and react for their rights.
" In 36 years they worked to teach us that we are an uncivilized people, that we cannot form a state, that we cannot revolt and that we cannot come together. For 36 years they exhausted us, left us without education and called us criminals. What happened was overturned in 42 days. Albanian society all took to the streets in solidarity. We showed that not every people deserves the government they have. Albanian society does not deserve Edi Rama as prime minister and Belinda Balluku as deputy prime minister ," she said.
Vatnikaj said that the protest has proven that citizens are capable of organizing and articulating their demands for a different Albania.
" In 42 days we have shown that we know how to articulate ourselves and that we can create a new Albania, without thieves at the head of the state. This does not only happen in Tirana. Have you seen how Elbasan, Korça and Lezha have been organized. Have you seen how Albanians have been organized in every corner of the United States and Europe? " she said.
At the end of her speech, the activist stated that neither the high summer temperatures nor the tourist season have weakened the protesters' determination.
" They thought that the World Cup would defeat us, that the heat and vacations are more expensive than democracy. But we, like the first day, are here asking for only one thing: Rama, resign ," declared Vatnikaj, amid applause and cheers from the protesters.
The protest has now entered its 42nd consecutive day and organizers have warned that rallies will continue every evening until their demands are met, insisting that the movement has now transcended Zvërnec's initial cause and has transformed into a broader protest against the government and the political system.

The 42nd protest against the government of Prime Minister Edi Rama was accompanied by a series of banners and strong messages held by citizens on the boulevard.
The banners became a direct form of communication for the protesters, conveying through irony, criticism, and calls for change in the political, social, and economic situation in the country.
Protesters expressed dissatisfaction with the government, demanding political change, more transparency, and a response to social and economic issues.
Among the banners and slogans that stood out during the rally were: "Rama go!", "Mangy goat with a high tail", "Rama resigns", "Stop corruption", "The people demand change", "Enough with promises, we want solutions", "Without farmers there is no bread, without justice there is no trust", "Listen to the farmer, respect our work, protect the land that feeds the country".
Protesters also held up banners related to the cost of living, the emigration of young people, and concerns about governance, openly displaying civic dissatisfaction with the majority.
In addition to the banners, calls against Prime Minister Rama and demands for a change in the current political class were also heard during the protest.

An elderly citizen who participated in the 42nd anti-government protest has raised concerns about the situation in the Old Sauk area. He stated that residents have been facing water supply problems for months.
According to him, the water in the area has a strong odor and has caused health problems for residents. The citizen stated that despite complaints made to institutions, the problem has not been resolved.
The protester also criticized the situation in hospitals, stating that during a medical treatment he was forced to buy his own medicines due to their shortage. The elderly man also accused state offices of inaction, saying that they are filled with people who, according to him, do not provide solutions to citizens.
"I am protesting all the evils that are being done to Albania. I was in the hospital because we were poisoned by the water in the Sauk i Vjetër area. The water has been smelling like a well for 6 months and no one has taken action."
I paid 10 thousand lek for medicine at the hospital, because there was no medicine and I had to buy it myself. I go to the offices and find no solution, they are full of patronizers.
"This is why I am protesting today," said the citizen.
The 42nd protest in Tirana continues with the march of citizens towards the Prime Minister's Office, while participants say they will continue the rallies until their demands are met.
Thousands of citizens marched towards the Prime Minister's Office on the 42nd day of protests in Tirana, demanding the removal of Edi Rama and a change in the country's political system.
The protest march from Skanderbeg Square to the Prime Minister's Office has begun, on the 42nd day of protests in Tirana. Thousands of citizens have joined the civic rally, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama, as a non-negotiable demand.
The protesters have called on the head of government to confront them on the boulevard and account for the concerns raised by them.
Citizens from different cities in the country have gathered on the "Martyrs of the Nation" boulevard, holding banners and repeating slogans against the government and the political class.
During the rally, chants were heard such as : "Rama, resign!", "Down with the government!", "Albania belongs to the citizens", "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison", "Revolution", "New Albania", "The end has come for you", "Edi Rama, you bastard, wait for the people, they are coming".
Citizens of all ages, from young people to families with children, have joined the protest. Organizers say that the escorting and arrests of some participants in recent days have not affected the continuation of the rallies, which have been taking place every evening for 42 days.
The protest, which initially began as opposition to the tourism project in Zvërnec, has now turned into a broader movement against the government and what protesters describe as the "old political class."
Organizers and participants insist that their demands are no longer related to a single issue, but to changing the political system in the country.
According to them, the protest will continue until the main demand is met: the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the launch of a process to change the political system.

On the 42nd day of the civic protest against the government of Prime Minister Edi Rama, various citizens have shared their concerns and dissatisfaction with the political situation in the country.
Before the march from Skanderbeg Square to the Prime Minister's Office began, some protesters expressed their disappointment with the current government and demanded political change.
One of them said that the country has lost its direction and that institutions are not functioning properly.
"Prime Minister Edi Rama asked for the steering wheel, took it, but lost control and threw us all into the abyss. Everything that is supposed to function according to the rules has been bypassed. Every institution is corrupt. Everything has turned into a facade and no longer functions," he said.
The citizen also criticized Parliament and the way protesters are being treated.
"The foundations are rotten. They do not prioritize saving people's lives. They think they are bringing innovation to Albania, but internationals do not only see concerts and facades. We must fight this corruption. You tell us the truth. With the youth, we must definitely overthrow this government," the citizen said.
Meanwhile, another protester, who said she works in public administration, said she came out to protest despite the risk this situation poses to her job. She stated that she has voted for Prime Minister Rama three times, but today she feels disappointed.
"I risk a lot being here, but the biggest risk is the depopulation and fragmentation of the homeland. I consider my work a small risk compared to what is happening to the country," said the protester.
She added that the country needs change and that she feels compelled to react.
"I have voted for the Rama government three times and I am ready to publicly climb the steps of protest and even cut off my hand, because I have hoped," the citizen said.
According to her, all citizens must defend their country and their interests. "I am in defense of every millimeter of this homeland. The homeland loves you even when you are not the most beautiful bird," declared the protester.
The 42nd protest continued with the march of citizens towards the Prime Minister's Office, while the organizers have declared that the rallies will continue until their political demands are met.

The 42nd protest has begun in Tirana, as citizens gathered in "Skënderbej" Square demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
The protesters have announced that their demand remains non-negotiable, and after gathering in the center of the capital, a march is expected to take place towards the Prime Minister's Office building. There, they will give speeches, as they do every evening, and then the march will begin on the streets of Tirana.
Organizers have announced that today's rally will also be attended by Albanians from the diaspora, who have long supported this cause.
The day before, protesters held a march on some of Tirana's main streets, where they chanted slogans against the government. They chanted: "Government of crime," "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison," "Albania demands revolution," "Rama resigns," etc.
Today's rally is expected to be accompanied by increased security measures and partial traffic blockages in several areas of the capital.
