IT expert Gent Progni gave a speech during the 42nd protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, where he leveled accusations against the government and raised allegations about the way public funds are used.
Progni ironically compared the price increase of soufflés to the Kanye West concert in Tirana. He said that the concert participants did an "honor" to the protest, as they helped to increase public debate about the costs of the event.
The expert stated that, if there is a political change in the country, he will propose a symbolic law that he would call the "souflakes law", while those who have misused public funds must be held accountable.
Progni also announced that a new report is being prepared to be filed with SPAK, regarding a €4 million fund that he claims was given to a private company. He raised allegations of links between this company and other individuals, as well as ownership issues, demanding that this be investigated by the justice system.
"When I was coming here, the price of soufflé had increased, because Kanye West's ones had run out. Those who went there did us a favor, some went with difficulty. When the New Albania comes, we will make a new law and call it the soufflé law, and we will punish them. But we will not give them soufflés there in prison. Rama has given us the opportunity to make another file to take to SPAK for 4 million euros. 4 million euros to give to the company that organizes all the tallavas of this government. We will take this company to SPAK. This is a tallava government, a government that will be arrested, a government that will resign," said Progni.
