Protester from Sauk raises concerns about polluted water: We were poisoned, I

An elderly citizen who participated in the 42nd anti-government protest has raised concerns about the situation in the Old Sauk area. He stated that residents have been facing water supply problems for months.

According to him, the water in the area has a strong odor and has caused health problems for residents. The citizen stated that despite complaints made to institutions, the problem has not been resolved.

The protester also criticized the situation in hospitals, stating that during a medical treatment he was forced to buy his own medicines due to their shortage. The elderly man also accused state offices of inaction, saying that they are filled with people who, according to him, do not provide solutions to citizens.

"I am protesting all the evils that are being done to Albania. I was in the hospital because we were poisoned by the water in the Sauk i Vjetër area. The water has been smelling like a well for 6 months and no one has taken action."

I paid 10 thousand lek for medicine at the hospital, because there was no medicine and I had to buy it myself. I go to the offices and find no solution, they are full of patronizers.

"This is why I am protesting today," said the citizen.

The 42nd protest in Tirana continues with the march of citizens towards the Prime Minister's Office, while participants say they will continue the rallies until their demands are met.
