The World Cup quarterfinal match between Norway and England, scheduled to kick off at 11:00 PM at Miami Stadium, is at risk of not starting on schedule due to adverse weather conditions.
According to weather forecasts, storms accompanied by electrical discharges are expected in the area around the stadium, a situation that could force FIFA to postpone the start of the match.
Such a scenario would not be unusual for England. Even in the match played against Mexico, the start of the challenge was delayed by an hour due to bad weather.
FIFA regulations are clear in such cases: if lightning is detected within a radius of approximately 8 kilometers from the stadium, the match cannot take place. Players must remain off the field for at least 30 minutes, and then they are given an additional 15 minutes to warm up before the game can resume or start.
