Week 7 of the First Division has confirmed Skënderbeg's dominance and brought significant changes in the top and bottom of the standings. Korçarët won minimally 1-0 away against Luftëtari, breaking away from the top with 19 points and maintaining the status of the undefeated team, with an impressive goal difference of 12:1.
Laçi is in the hunt, having triumphed 3-0 over Kukës and holds second place with 13 points. Iliria of Fushë-Krujë, after a 1-1 draw away from home with Kastrioti, stands on the podium with 11 points and shows ambitions to return to the elite of Albanian football.
Korabi recorded a 2-0 victory over Lushnja and climbed to fifth place, while Burreli stopped in Fier with a 2-1 loss to Apolonia, losing ground in the race for the lead.
At the bottom of the standings, Kukësi, Besa e Kavajës and Kastrioti continue to suffer with only 4 points each after 7 weeks, making the mission for survival difficult.
With Skënderbeu seemingly unstoppable towards the Superiore, the real race is focusing on second place, where Laçi, Iliria and Burreli are expected to face off in a tough duel in the coming weeks.
