Eduard Iordanescu is no longer the coach of Romania. The news was given by the technician himself, announcing his departure after 28 games at the head of this representative.
" My mission is over !"- were the words of the 46-year-old Romanian, today. This national team will start work very soon, to find the right coach, to send the team to important results.
With Iordanescu at the helm, the team averaged 1.43 points per game.
We remind you that the team participated in the European Championship in Germany, where they ranked first in group E with 4 points, the same as Belgium, Ukraine and Slovakia.
In the 1/8 round, Romania was eliminated by the Netherlands, after they were defeated with a clean score of 0-3 in the match which was played at the "Allianz Arena" in Munich.
