Rei Manaj has returned to Sivaspor this Sunday, as the Turkish club has not found any team to pay the 10 million euros required for the Albanian striker's card. He has admitted that he is still waiting for a possible transfer, but after arriving in Turkey, he has made it clear that he remains fully focused on Sivaspor, with whom he has a contract for two more years.
" I feel very good, I'm happy to be back again, I feel good. I have always been in contact with Sivaspor about my possible transfer. They didn't want to sell me below my market value. We have a long process ahead of us, so we will see ", said the Albanian footballer for "TRT Sport" after landing at the airport.
He then also spoke about his participation in "EURO 2024", but emphasized that now all the focus was on the Turkish club.
" The European Championship was very good for me. I spent there the most beautiful moments of my life wearing my nation's shirt. But now I am fully focused on Sivaspor ," said Manaj.
Turkish media reports that in case of staying at Sivaspor, Manaj is expected to be promoted as one of the captains of the team this season.
