Protesters are continuing to march through the streets of the capital, carrying out the 49th consecutive protest against Prime Minister Edi Rama. During their movement through Tirana, they have repeated the demand for the resignation of the head of government, while chanting slogans such as: "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison", "Edi Rama resigns", "Albania seeks revolution", "Your end has come" and "Unite with us".
Drone footage shows a high participation of citizens in the protest held in Tirana, refuting the claims and publications of the majority, which showed footage of a limited number of protesters.
At this moment, the main streets of the capital are filled with protesters, who are marching demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and reiterating that the mobilization will continue in the coming days.
After 49 days of uninterrupted resistance, protest coordinators confirm that the revolt has no intention of stopping and that today's rally will be another indicator of civic determination.
"We will be in the square every day. This movement will only grow until the voice of the sovereign is heard and all our demands are met," the organizers said, once again inviting all citizens to join them on the Boulevard.
