A citizen who spoke at the 49th protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office reacted to the development of the Citizens' Assembly held today in Tirana, emphasizing that the protest should remain a movement of citizens and not be represented by individuals or specific structures.
According to him, the protest already has a coordination group that organizes its activity and no one has the right to speak on behalf of all the protesters.
He stated that every person is free to express their opinion, but this does not mean that it represents the protest's stance.
" The protest belongs to the people, it is a sacrifice. Today, some people, with good will, have tried to make a breakthrough to strengthen the protest. They have been mentioned by name. The protest has a coordinating group that keeps it alive. This protest is the voice of the people. Whoever comes here, comes with their own opinion. They do not speak on behalf of the protest. In no mass form ," he declared.
At the end of his speech, the citizen called on the protesters not to allow division and to unite around common objectives.
" Good Albanians, let us gather in this square without differences and without divisions. Let us not grumble at the mill of criminal governments. Let us all unite and not be influenced by divisions, as our goal remains the realization of the five points of the protest ," he said.
