The final of the Hamburg men's tennis tournament was a real battle, both on and off the court. French tennis player Arthur Fils won 2-1 (6-2, 3-6, 7-6) against German Alexander Zverev, a match that lasted 3 hours and 30 minutes.

However, what stood out was the argument the two tennis players had throughout the match between them. The vocabulary was not lacking, so much so that in the end they faced each other physically. Things could have degraded even worse had the challenge referee not intervened.

Since it was played in Germany, Zverev's home, the French tennis player had the public against him, so he sometimes asked for their support. Zverev also addresses the player verbally and celebrates loudly after each point.
