United States President Donald Trump has arrived at the MetLife Stadium, where the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina will take place this evening.
Moments before the start of the match, Trump spoke to Fox Sports, stressing that he does not have a favorite team to win the trophy. However, he admitted that it is difficult not to believe in Lionel Messi, praising the greatness of the Argentine captain.
" The President of Argentina is a good friend of mine and he's done a great job. But what I can say is that it's hard to bet against Lionel Messi. For me, there's no favorite. I just know I wouldn't bet against Messi. He's great ," Trump told Fox Sports shortly before the start of the final.
