Yesterday evening, Albania and Serbia faced off at the 'Arena Kombëtare' stadium in Tirana as part of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, a match held without the presence of Serbian fans, but also under strong security measures.
On more than a few occasions, the red and black fans present in the stadium have erupted in cheers against the Serbs, something normal in such meetings.
But there was also a sequence that seems to have made the rounds around the world, when an Albanian fan kissed a Serbian journalist while he was on live broadcast.
To date, we have seen cases where fans have made such actions or gestures when the reporters were girls.
As seen in the footage below, an Albanian fan kissed Al Jazeera Balkans Serbian journalist Milan Boskovic on the cheek.
Serbia was in direct contact in front of the "National Arena", when suddenly he received a kiss on the cheek from an Albanian fan wearing a national team jersey.
