Saudi Arabia secured qualification for the World Cup after a goalless draw against Iraq, a result that was enough to successfully conclude the final stage of the Asian qualifiers.
According to the decision made public by the Minister of Sports, Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, each player and member of the technical staff will receive 5 million Saudi riyals, which translates to around 1.1 million euros.
This is Saudi Arabia's third consecutive qualification to the world's biggest football competition, an achievement that is seen as evidence of the great progress that Saudi football has made in recent years.
