The jersey that Rey Manaj wore in the match against Serbia, on October 11 in Leskovac, has become a valuable collector's item.
At the international auction organized by MatchWornShirt, with which the Albanian Football Federation officially cooperates, it was sold for a whopping 3,100 euros. The winning bid came from the United States of America, where the buyer, determined to have this historical memento, increased the price 11 times, from 378 euros to over three thousand.
The jersey bears Manaj's signature and remains a special symbol, as he was the author of the goal that sealed Albania's historic victory over Serbia, a moment that will remain long in the memory of the red and black fans.
This is the second most expensive Albanian national team jersey at auction. The record is held by Nedim Bajrami's jersey, worn against Italy at Euro 2024, when he scored the fastest goal in European Championship history, after just 23 seconds. That jersey was bought for 5,792 euros.
