The leader of AAK, Ramush Haradinaj, has reacted to the request of the Vetëvendosje Movement to the two largest opposition parties, LDK and PDK, to propose three names as candidates for President.
Haradinaj assessed that Prime Minister Albin Kurti should have made such a request earlier, adding that, according to him, this is part of a political strategy.
"It is understandable that Kurti's strategy will continue with these actions. A head of government who would have an interest in electing the President, what he said today, should have said earlier."
"No one knows that he implements what he says. This is now a kind of ultimatum of his, part of his strategy to send the country to elections. It is not right how he is behaving like this. We as the Alliance have not had the will to become part of this game," Haradinaj declared.
