The race in Lezha has become quite heated in the last envelopes being counted with Greek votes. With 566 votes left to be counted, the DP leads by 406 votes over the SP.
The Democrats have requested a recount of two ballot boxes, which has been opposed by the Socialists. According to the Democrats, the final tally has three fewer votes than observers recorded.
The CEC chairman, Ilirjan Celibashi, has also joined the counting groups, while Ulsi Manja and Taulant Balla are following the process from the steps of the Olympic Park.
The latter have asked Celibashi that if he accepts the DP's request for a recount of two ballot boxes, he will have to do the counting himself.
Celibashi decided to recount the boxes, as he was present at the process.
"Go count the votes yourself," he is heard telling Manja-Celibas.
