Prime Minister Rama has delivered his speech at the International Future Investment Initiative Forum. French President Emmanuel Macron is also present at this forum, where the focus is on the future investment initiative. In between jokes, he said that "we are finally doing something ahead of France".
Rama said that the day before, Albania held a fantastic summit, while emphasizing that this country needs more people who believe in it. The Prime Minister also said that French students who come to Albania do not want to leave, but seek to work in our country.
"Emmanuel is not happy to hear it," he said, adding that he hopes the opposition will not blame the French president for being the cause.
"I felt empowered when I heard Emanuel why in Tirana? He should come to France. We finally did something before France, which is a good start. After 4 elections the risk of talking even longer is very present.
We are very proud of what we have achieved so far. No one would have believed what happened yesterday. We have come a long way. We are witnessing the results of the changes we are making. The responsibility is much greater. The demand for results at high levels is increasing. We held a fantastic summit yesterday and we understood how difficult it was, but I think we did well.
We offered them the pinnacle of gastronomy to make them feel as good as possible. We are here for the message that this country wants more, needs more people to trust us. We are good friends with many people. We want our guests' friends to say we are strategic partners of the EU and the US, but we have with Arabia, the Aegean. We are trying to learn from different realities and do our best to bring out the best.
"The times we live in are complicated. I checked the Webster dictionary where the most used word is polarization. For the Collins dictionary, the most used word was era. I believe with all my might that when Trump says he has a plan for America, I believe he is telling half the truth that God saved him because he also has a plan for Europe ," Rama said.
