MP Flutura Açka, in an interview, hinted that Gazment Bardhi and a group of MPs may undertake a new political movement in September. According to her, Sali Berisha's reaction is currently being awaited and parliamentary mandates are being secured, so no concrete action is expected until September.
Ms. Açka added that this movement will not be individual, but coordinated by a wider group within the Democratic Party. Açka emphasized that Bardhi will justify the morality of a possible division with the argument that efforts to unite the DP have failed.
" I have the impression that Mr. Bardhi is preparing a group. I have the impression that they are waiting to see if there will be any reaction from Mr. Berisha. If not, it is not surprising that we will have a sudden movement in September when all parties are assured. Keep in mind that once they secure the mandate. So now there will be no movement. Until September they will pass in silence.
On September 10, we will see what can happen. Does Gazment Bardhi have the morals? I say he will find them. He will find the morals, meaning that with a party that we cannot split, that he tried, that for alibi he and many others in the DP, are masters.
"I'm not saying that Bardhi will make this move alone, I'm saying it will be a group, not a name, " Ms. Açka said on Dritare TV.
