Following threats by US President Donald Trump that the US would attack Iran, Tehran has reacted harshly, even threatening to close the Strait of Hormuz in the event of a new attack.
Iranian media outlet 'Press TV' cited what it called informed security sources.
"Iran's new strategy is: after any attack, the Strait of Hormuz will be completely closed," a post on Iranian media's Telegram said.
In addition, they vowed that Iran would carry out attacks on at least twice the number of targets hit in retaliation.
" Any threat will receive a strong response; Iran does not distinguish between the US and regional partners ," he said.
