With file in hand, Kryemadhi appears before the Criminal Court: Justice with statistics is worse than injustice

Monika Kryemadhi appeared this Thursday at the premises of the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime (SCOC).

The former LSI leader was seen entering the courthouse with a bag of documents in her hands, while giving a brief comment to the media regarding the justice system.

"Justice with statistics is worse than injustice," said Kryemadhi, without providing further details on the reason for her appearance in the GJKKO.

Her appearance comes at a time when Kryemadhi's name is linked to SPAK investigations that also focus on her ex-husband, Ilir Meta, currently under "prison arrest" security measure.

SPAK has filed charges against Meta and Kryemadhi for corruption, money laundering, and concealment or failure to declare assets. The investigations are related to the lobbying case of the former Socialist Movement for Integration in the United States and the file known as CEZ-DIA.

While Ilir Meta continues to remain in detention since October 2024, Kryemadhi is facing court proceedings at large.
