Adriatik Lapaj from "Albania Becomes" declared that he will be in the opposition in Parliament and will only vote on laws related to the country's integration into the European Union.
He stated that with this supermajority, the dissolution of the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK) is also at risk, as according to him, with 84 votes you can turn this institution into a formality.
"We in that Parliament will vote only on those laws that are related to European integration and that are in favor of Albania. If a law is necessary to continue the integration process and does not violate the essence of our constitutional, legal or moral order of society, we will not normally become an obstacle in this regard. For the rest of the laws of the gentleman, who will come and do what he will do, we will be the opposition in that Parliament and that's it. The 83 votes he has are within the limits of the number 84 and with 84 votes he has a qualified majority with which to change the codes.
"This means that all the constitutional changes that have occurred for SPAK can be undone with constitutional amendments thanks to these 84 votes, even though they are not enough to change the Constitution. They need one more vote and they will turn SPAK into a mere formality ," added Adriatik Lapaj on the "Debat" show on A2 CNN.
