The reaction comes after the leader of the Democrats declared that anyone who joins Ervin Salianjan "closes accounts with the DP."
The former head of the Democratic Party branch in Kavaja, Hysen Kadiu, has responded to Sali Berisha after the latter's statements towards Ervin Salianj's supporters.
Kadiu reacted on social media after Berisha stated that any person who follows Salianji is considered to have severed ties with the Democratic Party.
"Saliani did not put me in the DP, doctor... and you can't expel me either!" Kadiu writes in his reaction.
Kadiu's statement comes after, according to the positions expressed by Berisha, he could also be among the figures who risk being expelled from the DP due to his participation in the meeting held the day before by Ervin Salianji.
"Whoever follows Salianji settles scores with the DP. These are not criticisms. They have concrete actions against the Democratic Party," Berisha declared .
The clash between the parties comes at a time of ongoing tensions within the Democratic Party, where debates over the party's leadership and stances towards critical figures have sparked strong reactions within the ranks of the Democrats.
