Ilir Alimehmeti, the candidate of the open list of the 'PD-ASHM' coalition, who failed to obtain the mandate of MP on May 11, even though he received over 17 thousand preferential votes, said that an analysis should be conducted, based on which it will be determined who has worked hard, who has worked well and who has not worked.
Alimehmeti said that the only one from the closed list who worked with maximum energy, the only one who was active, was Sali Berisha.
Are you portraying Berisha as the hardest worker?
A person can work hard, the question is how productive is he? And productivity depends on the team. So the right team was built or not, or the team was uncoordinated. What was done during the campaign is being reaped. You have to be on the ground even after the campaign, you have to work with people.
We have a big discussion about the numbers. When we saw the Diaspora vote that was added to ours, at first we were told that it was 42 thousand, then we got 43 thousand and then we got 43 thousand and 700.
Do you have proof that your votes were stolen?
I didn't say stolen, I said my votes weren't counted. I personally received the video footage of several CEAZs. We are checking them with a sample, because we can't see all the footage. The technical-legal group that is following the process has noticed that we have a drop in quality from Sunday evening to Tuesday noon and then we have major slippages that are also reflected in the minutes.
Could this change the outcome?
It has never happened in Albania that the boxes are opened and there are changes in the results. We simply need it for internal analysis. We have candidates who are ranked much lower than where they are in reality. In many centers we have seen the falsification, but again we say how it serves the analysis, so that we do not say tomorrow that this or that candidate did not work, because we have counters who do not know how to count or that we have cases of falsification of the result.
