The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has harshened his tone towards Prime Minister Edi Rama, accusing him of acting contrary to national interests.
In a press conference, Berisha listed several cases that, according to him, prove the Prime Minister's positions to the detriment of Albanians, focusing also on his role in international summits after the start of the war in Ukraine. According to Berisha, Rama has requested that Serbia not be asked to impose sanctions on Russia.
"Today, at the meeting with Albanians in the diaspora, Edi Rama, the fiercest enemy of the Albanian nation after Enver Hoxha, took the floor. He is a fierce enemy of the national interest, the Western vocation and the very existence of Albanians as a nation, and at the same time the greatest thief of all time, of public funds and assets of this country. One of the most prominent analysts in Europe has called Rama, for the services he has rendered to Serbia, the best prime minister of this country after Nikola Pashic.
After Enver Hoxha, who proudly declared that we left Kosovo to the Serbs, Edi Rama in these years of power is the biggest traitor to Kosovo and the Albanian nation. As Vučić's hired hand, he was directly involved in the project of border changes and the division of Kosovo. After the failure of this project, together with his master Vučić and their tool Zajev, they established a mini Schengen, on the official map of Belgrade-Tirana-Skopje, Kosovo appeared integrated within the map of greater Serbia...
The return of a mini-Yugoslavia in a way ended up in the trash can of history after being rejected by other countries in the region and the EU. Rama became the most shameless advocate of Vučić and Little Russia in the Balkans after the Russian aggression in Ukraine, while the EU and NATO imposed sanctions on Russia, Rama went from summit to summit removing every measure and insisting that Serbia not be asked to implement sanctions against Russia with the absurd argument that Belgrade cannot implement them and should not be asked to and not implement them,” said Berisha.
