The Vice President of the Democratic Party, Luciano Boçi, has stated that Albanians in Thessaloniki are rejecting the Diaspora Summit, describing it as a propaganda activity by Prime Minister Edi Rama.
According to Boçi, Albanian communities abroad are seeking concrete solutions to the problems they face, while, according to him, the government only offers them ceremonial activities and public image.
He emphasizes that this reaction of the diaspora shows a refusal to be used for political purposes and to legitimize a power that, according to him, does not listen to them.
"The rejection of this summit by representative voices of Albanian communities is proof that the diaspora no longer accepts being used as decoration for the credibility of a government that does not listen to it," he writes.

Propaganda Summit
The Albanians of Thessaloniki reject Rama's summit. For them, the Diaspora Summit is not being organized as a forum for Albanians abroad, but as a propaganda fair for Rama's political plight.
When the diaspora seeks solutions to real problems and the government offers them ceremonies, photos, and facades, this is not care, but mockery.
The rejection of this summit by representative voices of Albanian communities is proof that the diaspora no longer accepts being used as decoration for the credibility of a government that does not listen to it.
