"Berisha worshipped Enver Hoxha", Evi Kokalari: Here's why I

Evi Kokalari, the Albanian-American activist, who from being a supporter of Sali Berisha, during the time when he started the Foltore tour and clashes with Lulzim Basha, has turned into an opponent of his, in a post on social networks, states that her goal is the total cleansing of the communist mentality, the complete destruction of the dome of the post-communist regime.

Kokalari writes that Berisha, who was a student of my father at the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Docent & Dr. Petrit Kokalari, worshipped Enver Hoxha.

"What I do for the DP is not for a political career, otherwise I would have accepted the position of vice-president when Berisha offered it to me before the 2022 Assembly. Berisha himself publicly admitted this in an interview given several years ago," writes Kokalari.

With great respect, I want to remind those who write to me privately that "it's Sali Berisha, you fools," that I come from the same family that gave you Enver Hoxha and Musine Kokalari, plus 20 others who, out of fear of their intellectual strength, were persecuted to the core by their great cousin.

In contrast, Sali Berisha, who was also a student of my father at the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Docent & Dr. Petrit Kokalarit, he - that is, Berisha - worshipped his great cousin at a time when most of us, including my father, were distanced and removed from the attention of the country's communist dome and focused on the survival of generations.

Maybe he's Sali Berisha to you fools, but things from where I stand seem different, very different, and to put it very clearly, for me it's an additional element that clearly needs to be fought.

What I do for the DP is not for a political career, otherwise I would have accepted the position of vice-president when Berisha offered it to me before the 2022 Assembly. Berisha himself publicly admitted this in an interview given a few years ago.

What I want to do is not only for the DP, but for the country, and I feel an obligation at this point to finish what my cousins started: the total cleansing of the communist mentality, the complete destruction of the dome of the post-communist regime, and why not the destruction of the Party of Labor of Albania, which is still in existence today.

If someone has my talent, energy, and passion, let them come out and take over the DP and lead this fight, but if you're going to say that Berisha won't leave you, you're not up for this job.

At this point there is only one way: Only forward and always to the right!
