A 49-year-old man has been arrested in Tirana, after being wanted for a theft with serious consequences that occurred in November 2024.
The arrested Adi Çapunaj is suspected of having, in collaboration with two other persons, taken 30 thousand euros and items of considerable value from the apartment of a citizen in Tirana. One of the accomplices was arrested earlier, while the other remains at large.
"As a result of the rapid administration of information obtained operationally, regarding the location of a wanted citizen, the services of Police Commissariats No. 1 and No. 6 finalized the "November" operation."
During the operation, citizen A. Ç., 49 years old, was located, captured and detained.
The Tirana Court has assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offense of "Theft", with serious consequences, committed in collaboration.
In November 2024, it is suspected that citizen A. Ç., in collaboration with citizen Xh. C. (arrested) and another citizen (still wanted), stole 30,000 euros and items of considerable value from the apartment of citizen A. Ç.
"Work continues to capture the last citizen wanted in this case," the police announced.
