A 23-year-old man identified as Renis Dobra was found dead in the early hours of this Wednesday morning, on the slope of Lake Shkopet, a few meters from the water.
An examination of the victim's body revealed several bruises on his neck and throat, signs that have increased suspicions that the young man may have been strangled with a rope and then thrown into Lake Shkopet along with the vehicle.
Journalist Etleva Delia stated that the causes of the incident still remain a mystery, while the investigative group has raised several possible leads regarding the serious incident.
She added that the clues are focused on the young man's past, as he had precedents in the field of narcotics in Germany, but also a possible conflict in Burrel.
According to the journalist, the fact that the parents suspected that their son might have been kidnapped could provide important information that could lead to the unraveling of the motive.
"The motive for the murder in Shkopet remains a mystery. There are suspicions that he may have been involved in some criminal activity in Germany or in Burrel."
