A 28-year-old man has been arrested by police after being caught selling narcotics.
According to the police, the arrested person has been identified as Edi Mullamake, a resident of Bilisht. The 22-year-old client who purchased the cannabis from the young man from Korçë was also injured.
"The Narcotics Investigation Specialists of the Korça Police Department, in cooperation with the Devoll Police Commissariat, in continuation of the work to prevent and crack down on the criminal activity of distributing drugs in doses, in the Bilisht area, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Doses".
As part of the operation, citizen Edi Mullamake, 28 years old, resident of Bilisht, was arrested in flagrante delicto, who was selling suspected cannabis narcotics in doses in the city of Bilisht.
Citizen AB, 22 years old, resident of Hoçisht, Devoll, was also released on bail, after it was suspected that he had purchased a quantity of cannabis from the 28-year-old.
During the operation, dozens of doses of cannabis prepared for sale, a quantity of cannabis in the form of a bottle, 2 electronic scales and 2 mobile phones were seized as material evidence.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Korça, for further action, for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics" , the police announced.
