New details have emerged about the murder of 27-year-old Ardian Baloshi in Paskuqan, while the police and RENEA special forces continue the intensive operation to capture the suspected perpetrator, Sadik Llani, who has been wanted for more than 24 hours.
Sources from the investigation team indicate that more than 10 apartments in Fushe Kruje and the surrounding areas have been searched by RENEA forces to locate Llan. However, so far, authorities have not been able to track him down.
Searches were also conducted at Sadik Llani's own apartment, but no illegal items were found. Investigators suspect that the wanted man may have military training, a fact that necessitated the engagement of RENEA's elite forces in the operation.
From the information collected so far, it appears that Ardian Baloshi was just a few meters away from the scene of the incident, near a private residence in the Paskuqan area. According to preliminary investigations, the suspected perpetrator arrived in a "Benz" type vehicle and opened fire on the 27-year-old from a close distance.
Then, as he approached in a vehicle, he allegedly continued to fire at Baloshi. Although wounded, the young man attempted to escape by running towards the parking lot of the bar, but was shot again, losing his life on the spot.
After the incident, local residents transported Baloshi by private vehicle to the Trauma Hospital, but he arrived without signs of life.
Investigations have revealed that Sadik Llani and Ardian Baloshi had known each other for a long time and had even had friendly relations. Sources close to the investigation group indicate that there were early conflicts between them, which are suspected to have recently returned.
About two years ago, the two young men had a serious falling out, but later reconciled and their relationship normalized. However, the disagreements have allegedly resurfaced in recent months, creating ongoing tensions that tragically ended with the murder of the 27-year-old.
Meanwhile, Sadik Llani turns out to be a person with a criminal record. He has been previously convicted of distributing narcotics and is currently considered a high-risk person. The police suspect that he is armed, which has increased security measures during the operation to capture him.
The operational structures of the State Police, the Tirana Local Police Directorate and the RENEA special forces have been engaged in locating and arresting the suspect, and they are continuing intensive checks in several areas of the country.
Meanwhile, police have called on citizens to cooperate with authorities and report any information that could help in the capture of Sadik Llani. A reward of 10,000 euros has been made available for any valuable information leading to his location.
