Florian Shala alias Florian Alliaj, Neritan Dalipaj alias Neritan Qejvanaj, Aleksandër Dula alias Aleksandër Thomai alias Ilir Dula, Miço Beqaraj, Turi Aligjoni and Dritan Çelaj were arrested.
A criminal group suspected of involvement in crimes against the person and drug trafficking has been hit by a Vlora police operation.
During the operation, six people were arrested, including one internationally wanted by Italian authorities and two others wanted in Albania.
According to official sources, the intervention came after information that people with criminal records were traveling armed and using armored vehicles.
Florian Shala alias Florian Alliaj, Neritan Dalipaj alias Neritan Qejvanaj, Aleksandër Dula alias Aleksandër Thomai alias Ilir Dula, Miço Beqaraj, Turi Aligjoni and Dritan Çelaj were arrested.
Among those arrested is Aleksandër Dula, who was sentenced by the Court of Appeal in Lecce, Italy, to 6 years and 8 months in prison for drug trafficking and participation in a criminal organization. He was internationally wanted by Italian authorities.
Turi Aligjoni, 55, and Dritan Çelaj, 48, were also located and arrested in the same area. Both were on national wanted list. Aligjoni is suspected of being the perpetrator of the gunshot wound to a 26-year-old man in Vlora on June 7.
According to the police, the two wanted men are accused of the criminal offenses of "Intentional serious injury", "Unauthorized possession of weapons", "Supporting the perpetrator of the crime" and "Production and sale of narcotics".
During the operation, four pistols of the brands "Glock", "Sig Sauer" and "Canik", a quantity of combat ammunition, seven mobile phones, 1,850 euros and three vehicles, two of which with foreign license plates, were seized. One of the vehicles was armored.
Preliminary investigations have revealed that the "BMW X5" vehicle, seized during the operation, is suspected to have been used by Turi Aligjoni to flee the scene after injuring 26-year-old FL, an event that occurred in Vlora two days ago.

The perpetrator of the gunshot wound, which occurred 2 days ago, in Vlora, is also arrested.
6 citizens were arrested, of whom 2 were wanted nationally and 1 was wanted internationally.
4 firearms, pistols, combat ammunition, 3 vehicles, one of them armored, cell phones and a large amount of money were seized.
Following intensive actions to crack down on criminal activities and capture high-risk individuals, based on information obtained in the operational route that some citizens were moving armed and with armored vehicles, and among them was the perpetrator of the intentional serious injury, which occurred on 07.06.2026, specialists from the Serious Crimes Investigation Sector and the Crimes Against the Person Investigation Sector, at the Vlora Local Police Directorate, in cooperation with the National Security Force, Fier Unit, and under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Vlora, finalized the police operation codenamed "Group".
As a result, in a bar in the village of Vranisht, during the operation, a criminal group with high social danger operating in the cities of Vlora and Fier was hit. Also, citizens F. Sh.(A.), 52 years old, ND(Q.), 50 years old, MB, 35 years old and AD alias A. Th. alias ID, 51 years old, the latter declared internationally wanted by Italy, after the Court of Appeal of Lecce, Italy, in 2024, sentenced him to 6 years and 8 months in prison, for the criminal offenses of "Trafficking in narcotics" and "Participation in a criminal organization", with the aim of trafficking in narcotics.
Also, during the operation in this same bar, at the same table, citizens TA, 55 years old (suspected perpetrator of the injury that occurred on 07.06.2026) and D. Ç., 48 years old, declared nationally wanted, suspected of the criminal offenses "Intentional serious injury", "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", "Supporting the perpetrator of the crime" and "Production and sale of narcotics" were arrested.
During the operation, 4 firearms, pistols of the brands "Glock", "Sig Sauer" and "Canik", combat ammunition, 7 mobile phones, 1850 euros and 3 vehicles (2 of them with foreign license plates and one of them, armored) were seized.
The investigations revealed that one of the seized vehicles, a "BMW X5", was used by citizen TA to flee the scene of the incident, after the gunshot wound to citizen FL, 26 years old, an event that occurred on 07.06.2026, in Vlora.
In cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, work continues to uncover and legally document the criminal activity of this group.
"The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Vlora, for further action," the police announced.
