Numerous police forces conducted an operation during the night in the villages of the Vlorë River, conducting checks in several different environments and areas of the territory.
Preliminary information indicates that the action has led to the arrest and escort of several people. Among them is a citizen who is internationally wanted.
During the searches, officers seized four firearms and an armored vehicle. Authorities have not yet provided information on the identities of the detainees or the specific charges against them.
The operation was closely monitored by the director of the Vlora District Police, Edvin Ndreu, while various State Police structures were engaged in the field.
It is expected that in the coming hours the police will publish official details on the results of the operation, the people arrested and the materials seized. The investigations remain ongoing.
