The one you see in this photo is Lorenc Lala, who in Lushnje is known for short as "Lili".
The person who was arrested in Great Britain a few days ago, after the special structure SPAK issued an arrest warrant for being involved in several serious events in the criminal group led by Laert Haxhiu.
According to Artan Tafani, a collaborator of the Prosecution, Lala is the man who ordered and financed the blood feud murder of Bashali in Peqin.
The decision to kill Albi Bashaliu came 6 months after Artan Tafani refused Laert Haxhiu's order to kill Lushnja gang member Rexhep Gina in June 2021.
6 months after the refusal, in December 2021, Artan Tafani received another order to commit a murder in Peqin.
It concerns the elimination of Albi Bashaliu, who was the brother of Leonard Bashaliu, who in 2021 shot and killed 44-year-old Albert Xhahysa, owner of a "Tv Kabllor" studio in Pajova, Peqin. Leonard Bashaliu pleaded guilty to this murder and was sentenced to 18 years in prison.
Before the investigation group, Tafani admitted that 50 thousand euros were paid for this murder and that the payment was received through Lorenc Lala, alias "Lili".
"...I received 20,000 euros, "Luli" received 20,000 euros and Laerti received 10,000 euros. The payment was made in parts. Once, Laerti's father gave us 10,000 euros and told us that he had given this amount of money to "Lili". While Luli went and received the rest several times at a car wash located at "Delijorgji" in Tirana. Payments for events were usually left at this car wash and as far as I know, this car wash is owned by a person from Lushnja. Payments are left with the guard or an employee of the car wash. "Lili" had told Laerti that he gave the money himself from his pocket because Ylber Xhahysa's sons did not have finances even though they had a feud with the Bashaliu family...", Tafani claimed.
For the murder of Bashaliu, Lulzim Arapi went to Pogradec and purchased a "TT" type pistol from Bledar Berberi, while the group used two "Audi" type vehicles that they had taken from Ligor Romançka alias "Goles" and a black Benz with Greek license plates that belonged to Mario Diamant, who was shot dead in Greece on November 16, 2021.
Mario Diamanti is the cousin of "Ghino" Juxhin Bajrami, the person who was recently caught with Laert Haxhiu in Ioannina.
"...around December 2021, Laert Haxhiu tells me that he had received an order from the citizen Ilirjan (Lorenc) Lala, who lives in Lushnja and is called "Lili" that a murder would be committed in Peqin. "Lili" had ordered this murder because, as far as I know, Lili is the cousin of two boys from Peqin, whose father was killed in Peqin that same year with the surname Xhahysa and they wanted his murder for revenge...", Artan Tafani told the prosecutor.
To carry out this murder, 10 days before committing the crime, Artan Tafani went to Peqin in a car he had rented and met Enriko Xhahysa, who according to Tafani was of a short and stocky build.
Enriko Xhahysa got into Artan Tafani's car and lay down in the back of the car. Xhahysa told Tafani in the car that the brother of the person who was going to be killed had killed his father a few months ago and was very angry with him.
Enriko Xhahysa further confirmed the house of the person who was to be killed, the streets he passed through, and the places he frequented.
"...we stayed together for a few minutes and then, I left him where I picked him up and ran to Lushnja. Laerti showed me the person I was going to kill in a video, which was sent to him by "Lili" and I remember that the person who was going to be killed had the last name "Bashaliu". Enriko informed "Lili" about Bashaliu's (the victim's) movements, who I later found out had given "Lili" information that recently Albi Bashaliu was going to the same bar, which he also told me the day I met him and we could do the murder there. Laerti also told me that Bashaliu had a white "Volkswagen Caddy" car, he also gave me the license plates but I don't remember them at the moment..." , Artan Tafani told the prosecutor's office.
The hired killer went to Peqin on December 26, 2021 in the afternoon after planning to commit the murder that night. Lulzim Arapi drove him to Peqin, in a gray Benz with Greek license plates that Laerti had brought him. He, Tafani, waited for several hours but did not see Albin leave or enter the house. Therefore, he decided to leave and not kill Albi Bashali that night, returning to Tirana.
“...atë natë kam bërë fjalë me Laertin, sepse u mërzit që nuk u bë vrasja. Enriko, ma tregoi ditën kur u takuam një nga lokalet ku pinte kafe Albi, i cili ishte ai lokal, ku u bë dhe vrasja më pas. Prandaj u vendos që vrasja do kryhej mëngjesin e datës 27 dhjetor 2021 dhe do ta prisnim te ai lokal. Në darkë, pasi u ktheva nga Peqini kam shkuar me Laert Haxhiun dhe Lulin në një parking në “Astir” dhe aty kishim një automjet “Audi” që e kishim për ngjarje. Mesa më tha Laerti, këtë makinë ia kishte siguruar Ligor Romaçka ose siç i thërrasin në Korçë me nofkën “Golja”. Vendosëm që për të bërë vrasjen, do shkonim në Peqin me këtë “Audi”. Por kur ishim në darkë te parkingu, “Audi” nuk po ndizej dhe kemi qëndruar deri në orën 1 të natës duke tentuar ta ndezim. I kemi vendosur kapikorda makinës dhe më pas ajo u ndez...”, ka pohuar Artan Tafani.
Kur janë nisur në Peqin me vete morën dy armë, Tafani kishte një pistoletë “Minibloë” 22-she dhe një armë tjetër tip “TT” që “Luli” ja kishte blerë Bledar Berberit në Pogradec, disa ditë para ngjarjes.
“...bashkë me Lulin, në 27 dhjetor 2021 kemi arritur në Peqin rreth orës 04:00 të mëngjesit. Kemi parkuar afër lokalit ku u bë vrasja dhe kemi pritur aty. Ditën e ngjarjes unë kam pasur veshur tuta sportive të zeza, një triko gri me kapuç dhe një jelek të zi pa mëngë, kisha edhe maskë “Covid-19”. Jeleku i zi është i njëjti jelek që kam veshur në ngjarjen e 16 tetorit 2021 në Lushnjë, kur vramë Elton Mermalin.
E mbaja këtë jelek sepse kishte shumë xhepa mbrapa dhe ishte praktik për të futur gjëra. Kurse Luli kishte veshur xhinse dhe një xhup në ngjyrë mjalti të errët. Siç thashë kemi pritur pranë lokalit, brenda makinës derisa erdhi Albi Bashaliu në mëngjes rreth orës 08:00, i cili erdhi me automjet “Volksëagen Caddy” të bardhë. Pritëm sa Albi parkoi makinën e tij dhe në momentin që ai doli, unë kam dalë nga makina dhe me armën “TT” i kam gjuajtur 6 herë. Mesa kujtoj sepse aq fishekë kishte arma. Dy të parat ia gjuajta në gjoks, dy nga pas kur po kthehej mbrapsht dhe dy të tjerat po nga pas, pasi ishte rrëzuar në tokë...”, rrëfen Artan Tafani.
Pasi e qëlluan dhe Albi Bashaliu është shembur i pajetë në tokë, Lulzim Arapi, ka tentuar të ndezi makinën “Audi”, por mjeti nuk ndizej.
“...Luli më tha që nuk ndizet dhe unë i thashë ta digjte aty...”, tregon Tafani.
Ata kishin marrë dy bidona me benzinë dhe njëri nga bidonat e përdorën, për të djegur “Audin”. Gjatë vënies së zjarrit, “Lulit” i është djegur xhupi. Ndërsa Tafani, ka shkuar tek trupi i pajetë i Albi Bashaliut, dhe i ka marrë çelësat e makinës “Caddy” me të cilën ai erdhi dhe çelësat i mbante në dorë.

When I was taking the keys from the victim's hand, I remember that a man came out of the bar to look and I shouted at him, saying: "...Get inside or I'll take you as a slave...", Tafani claimed.
He entered the premises of the bar, threatening everyone present with a gun and then threw them to the ground.
While they quickly drove away in the victim's "Cadyn", they went to the place where they had left the "Benz Mercedes" car in Vilë-Boshtovë. At first, Tafani took "Luli" to the place where the Benz car was and then he went alone, hiding Albi Bashaliu's "Caddy", to a place in "Vilë-Bashtovë", where the Police found the unburned car.
"...after I left the car there, I walked and met Luli and got into Benzi's car. I kept the small gun because I didn't use it and I didn't have to throw it away. As for the "TT" type gun that I used to commit the murder, we dismantled it and threw it away piece by piece, while we were in the vehicle walking and throwing it out the window of the vehicle. We threw the parts of the gun after we had taken Benzi with Greek license plates and threw them somewhere in the bushes of "Golem", while we were walking. If you send me there, I can show you where they were thrown, because I threw them myself after Benzi, Luli was driving. I want to say that after I left the "Caddy" I was without gloves but before I left with a piece of wool I wiped the parts of the car so that there would be no traces of me. I didn't smoke cigarettes at "Caddy", neither I nor Luli, since Luli doesn't smoke. Then we went to Tirana and left Benzi at a parking lot at "Astir...", Artan Tafani confessed.
After we committed the murder, Lulzim Arapi notified Laert Haxhiu through the "Encro Chat" application that we were done. Before he left for Greece for the last time, Laert Haxhiu collected our weapons and what they had, including the "MiniBlow" pistol that Tafani had with him on the day of Albi Bashaliu's murder. / Ora News
