25 people have been arrested by Spanish police, including two Albanians who were caught in a drug lab.
The other arrested nationalities were, respectively, 12 Colombian citizens, nine Spaniards, one Mexican and one Italian.
The group had a laboratory to “cook” up to 30 kilograms of drugs per day. A dozen checks were carried out in eight locations in the province of Valencia, resulting in the seizure of €32,735, €38,850 of counterfeit goods, 38.2 kilograms of cocaine base, 7.4 kilograms of cocaine, 87 grams of hashish and 94 grams of marijuana.
Weapons and ammunition were also seized from the organization: two machetes, four pistols, a revolver, a hunting pistol, 30 magazines for weapons of various calibers, between 500 and 1,000 rounds of ammunition, a silencer, five luxury cars, police vests, a tracking device, 28 mobile phones, several SIM cards, various accounting data and other documentation.
The operation began in July 2024 with the discovery of a Spanish company suspected of smuggling narcotics into Spain through the port of Valencia. This company had business relations with an exporter with a long history of drug trafficking.
The operation is still ongoing, but Spanish media reports that the head of the group has also been arrested.
