A 41-year-old man has been arrested by police in Durrës, after being wanted for a suspected case of attempted murder that occurred in Shijak.
According to the police, specialists from the Serious Crimes Investigation Section executed the security measure "prison arrest" against citizen EH, 41 years old, resident of Shijak. The measure was ordered by the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Durrës with a decision dated June 8, 2023.
The 41-year-old is accused of the criminal offenses of "Intentional Murder", attempted murder, and "Unauthorized Possession and Production of Weapons, Explosive Weapons and Ammunition".
According to the investigation, he is suspected of having shot citizen A. Ç. on June 1, 2023, in Shijak, for weak motives.
"The security measure "Arrest in prison" is being executed for 1 citizen suspected of attempted murder.
Specialists of the Serious Crimes Investigation Section of the Durrës Local Police Directorate executed the security measure "Arrest in prison", assigned by the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Durrës, with the decision dated 08.06.2023, for the criminal offenses "Intentional Murder", attempted and "Unauthorized Possession and Production of Weapons, Explosive Weapons and Ammunition", for the citizen:
-EH, 41 years old, resident of Shijak.
This citizen was declared wanted after it is suspected that on 01.06.2023, in Shijak, he shot citizen A. Ç. with a firearm, for weak motives.
"The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further action," the police announced.
