Protesters march, citizens "surround" Parliament

Protest at Parliament

The citizens' protest against Prime Minister Edi Rama and the 36-year-old political caste has moved from the Prime Minister's Office to Parliament. Thousands of protesters continued their march through the streets of Tirana, moving to Parliament, where they remained for almost 10 minutes under the chants of "The end has come for you."

Young people with national flags in their hands and chanting "Revolution, revolution" blocked George W. Bush Street, next to Parliament.
