Renowned analyst and publicist, Fatos Lubonja, has joined the 24th consecutive protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office today, becoming one of the most prominent public figures who has closely supported the civic movement against the government.
Present among the protesters, Lubonja appeared with a pink flamingo in his hand, a symbol that has become one of the most used elements in recent protests, as well as a banner that read: "F*ck You! Resign."
The message on the banner is a direct response to Prime Minister Edi Rama's recent statements.
Today, in an interview with the prestigious British Financial Times, Rama used the phrase "F*ck you" towards those who accuse him of leading a corrupt system and inspiring political developments that are shaking the country.
It seems that Lubonja has chosen to bring back this very expression today, but this time accompanied by a clear political demand: "Resign."
