Protesters who have been part of the movement for a "New Albania" for 24 days are continuing their march through the streets of the capital, while the column of citizens has arrived at "Zogu I" Boulevard.
With banners in their hands and chanting slogans against the government and the political class, the participants are marching through one of Tirana's main streets, repeating the demands that have accompanied the protest since day one.
"Rama is gone", "Rama in prison", "Berisha in prison", "The end has come for you", "Resign" and "New Albania" are heard continuously throughout the march.
The protesters say they will not back down from their demands for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama, the removal of the government and the establishment of a transitional technical government, while also demanding constitutional changes and reform of the political system.
The march is taking place on the 24th day of the civic protest, which has transformed from an opposition to the project in Zvërnec into a broader movement against the government and the political elite in the country.
