The next court hearing is taking place at the GJKKO against Plarent Dervishaj and Julian Meçaj, who are accused of the assassination attempt on former prosecutor Arjan Ndoj, in which driver Andi Maloku was killed.
Luan Mata, the father of the much-wanted Ervin Mata, appeared in court. A TNT bomb exploded near Mata's hotel in 2020.
"In 2020, I operated a private business. I own the Viktoria Hotel and Viktoria Construction. I have no problems with people. In 2020, there was an incident, I was inside the hotel. The entire hotel is on camera. I have two children. I have no idea who planted the TNT on me ," he said.
Julian Pjetri, sentenced to 4 years and 4 months in prison for the assassination attempt on Arjan Ndoj, also testified in the trial.
Julian Pjetri: "I don't want to give explanations, I benefit from this right that the law gives me."
Genti Nderjaku also testified as a witness, this person also sentenced to 5.4 years in prison by the Criminal Court of Kosovo as part of the group for the gun attack against the former prosecutor.
Genti Ndërjaku: "I don't want to answer, I want to take advantage of this right."
Ramazan Rraja, the nephew of former MP Rrahman Rraja, also appeared in the trial. He is suspected of being part of the group of Plaurent Dervishaj, who was sentenced to 6 years in prison by the Criminal Court.
Ramazan Rraja: "I want to testify, but today my lawyer is not there. I will appear with a lawyer next time."
Part of the testimony was Amar Shkëmbi, recently extradited from Dubai.
