
Photos of two cousins arrested in Kamëz after being caught with cocaine have been published. Tirana Police have finalized the anti-drug operation codenamed "The First Link", seizing 2 kg and 235 grams of cocaine.
Two cousins, Saimir and Armand Nela, 31 and 34 years old, were arrested . According to the police, the two young men supplied cocaine to citizens and groups, who divided the substance into doses, with the aim of selling it in the "Allias" and "Oxhaku" areas of the capital.
The cocaine was hidden inside a bag in the car, marked "Nando", which came from Spain.
"The police anti-drug operation, codenamed "The First Link", is being finalized. 2 kg and 235 g of cocaine were seized from this operation.
Two citizens (cousins to each other), Saimir Nela and Armand Nela, were arrested.
As a result of the immediate administration of information obtained operationally, regarding 2 citizens who were transporting the narcotic substance Cocaine, with the intention of selling it, the services of Police Commissariat No. 4 finalized the operation "First Link".
"As part of the operation, a vehicle suspected of transporting narcotics was found in motion. The vehicle, in which citizens AN, 34 years old and SN, 31 years old, were traveling, was followed by the Police services to the place called "Treshi", where it was stopped for inspection. During the detailed inspection, 2 packages with 2 kg and 235 g of suspected narcotics Cocaine and 1 suspected toy pistol were found in this vehicle. Following the procedural actions, citizens AN and SN were arrested in flagrante delicto, for the criminal offense "Production and sale of narcotics".
From the investigative actions, it is suspected that the 2 citizens supplied cocaine to individuals and groups, who divided the substance into doses, with the aim of selling it in the "Alliasi" and "Oxhaku" areas.
"Investigations are ongoing to identify and bring to justice all citizens involved in this criminal activity," the police announced.
