Drunk at the wheel, 28-year-old Belgian man has an accident in Saranda 

A serious accident was recorded this morning in Saranda. It is learned that a 28-year-old Belgian lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the side barriers. 

Police say the young man was intoxicated. As a result of the collision, the 28-year-old Belgian was injured and is being treated in hospital. 

"Today, at around 06:50, on the "Butrinti" road, in the place called "Hidrovori", the Belgian citizen YZ, 28 years old, driving a "Dayang" motorcycle, suspected of being drunk, lost control of the vehicle and collided with the side protective barriers of the road.

As a result of the collision, the 28-year-old suffered injuries to his body and is currently in hospital, out of danger to his life.

"The investigation team continues to work to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident," the police announced.
