A serious incident occurred this morning in the village of Madhesh, Ulza, in the municipality of Mati, where a young man was found dead.
According to preliminary information, the victim is a 23-year-old man, who was found dead in a vehicle near Lake Shkopet and is suspected of murder.
It was the victim's father who filed a police report that his son had not returned to his apartment. Police announced that after several hours of searching, they found his lifeless body near Lake Shkopet, while the vehicle is suspected to have fallen into the lake.
"Yesterday evening, citizen RD appeared at the Mat Police Station, reporting that his son, citizen RD, 23 years old, had not returned to the apartment.
Police services immediately began searching for the 23-year-old. After several hours of searching, police services found the 23-year-old's body near Lake Shkopet, while his vehicle is suspected to have fallen into the lake.
"A special investigative group has been established in relation to this case and investigations are continuing under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office to clarify the circumstances and legally document the case," the police announced.
