A French tourist was injured on Tuesday afternoon in the Ksamil area while surfing on a jet ski.
Reports indicate that the jet ski the injured person was riding was hit by another watercraft, driven by the Frenchman's brother.
The 25-year-old lost control of the boat, colliding with his brother's boat, which fell into the water and suffered damage.
After first aid provided by the Saranda Maritime Police Unit, the 22-year-old, other brother was transported to the hospital, where his life is out of danger.
The Saranda Border Police has blocked two watercraft (jet skis) and verifications will be carried out for the violations found and the relevant administrative measures will be taken, according to the legislation in force, against the two owners of these vehicles.
Meanwhile, the investigative group at the Saranda Police Station is carrying out procedural and investigative actions, with the aim of fully clarifying the circumstances of the incident.
