Aredin Behari, who survived 2 assassination attempts, in 2017 and 2019, told the Special Court today the circumstances of the 2 episodes, and why from the beginning he was convinced that the plans to eliminate him were organized by the brothers Ardian Pashaj and Albert Pashaj.
The two brothers Ardjan and Albert Pashaj had a conflict due to financial debts they had to Aredin Behari.
To eliminate him, Albert Pashaj contacted Nuredin Dumani's "soldier", Henrik Hoxhaj, whom he paid 80 thousand euros.
The latter ordered and contacted his collaborator Skerdi Tase.
The first attempt in 2017 failed, after Behar was caught and fell to the ground. While in 2019, Henrik Hoxhaj's Kalashnikov jammed.
In today's court session of the "Golden Bullet" case, Ardian Behari claimed during his testimony that the main cause of the conflict with the two brothers is an apartment, reports "Shqiptarja.com".
Ardian Behari's testimony: I was sitting in a bar, at Astrit Merkaj's in Fier. I was on the first floor of the bar. The bar had glass, it had a view from the outside and inside. I saw him from the outside and escaped. I was sitting with Astrit Merkaj and two other people. It was around 7:00-8:00 p.m. At that time, I had a 2002 Ford. The person did not enter the bar, he stood at the door that was half open. He did not enter because he was scared, he shot directly through the glass. In that position, he shot directly at me. As my instincts went, I saw the person pulling out the gun and when he got stuck, I sat under the table and escaped. They shot four times, one bullet hit the corner of the table, the other bullets hit the wall. I did not suffer any physical harm. Then I called the police. The person left immediately. The perpetrator had a tall and thin body. He left on foot. He was wearing a mask, a tracksuit and a hoodie. I can't tell you who it was. I calmed down to tell the truth. I was not questioned at the Fier prosecutor's office about this incident. The police came and I explained what happened. I always sat at this bar. Albert and Ardian Pashaj saw me sitting at that bar. I was questioned by the police and I told them that I suspected Ardian and Albert Pashaj. I had a domestic conflict with them. After 5 days, the assassination attempt happened to me. I was aware of who had done it to me. I met with Ardian after the incident. My two brothers and I were in conflict over an apartment, I won the trial for the apartment in the Court of Appeal, the High Court returned it to the Appeals.
In November 2019, another assassination attempt happened to me. A car came at a moment when I was running home on foot. The car came and was moving slowly, then I heard gunshots, a hail of bullets. The car was moving past me. He shot about 3-4 times, I escaped the bullets. The passenger shot from the back seat. They hit me from the inside without opening the window. I remember screaming loudly and running away. I went to the prosecutor's office and they gave me two names: "Buzi" and another. I told them I didn't know anyone. I didn't think they had him with me. Thank God. I was at the bar, at Dashamir's until 9 o'clock. I was with one person and then I crossed the street to run home. The car was sky blue. After the second incident, I didn't meet either Ardian or Albert. Until 2016, we didn't get along at all, then I won the trial for the house and the warehouse. I still have the suspicion today that the assassination attempts came from my two brothers. In 2023 I am grateful to the state because my suspicions came to light. The culprit is Ardian Pashaj for all the problems that have been created for me. I have built two houses in Tirana for Albert Pashaj with my own money.
